Inclusivity

At MCC Lacrosse, we strive to be a welcoming and inclusive club. Hurtful language, discrimination, abuse, marginalisation or insulting behaviour on the grounds of gender, ethnicity, religion, background, skin colour, religious belief, sexuality, gender identity, socioeconomic class, disability or age will not be tolerated at our club.

 

We are proud supporters of the Lacrosse Victoria Pride Round, an event MCC Lacrosse hosted in May 2023, which is in support of players, coaches, volunteers, officials and families from the LGBTQIA+ community. We also participated in the Lacrosse Together Cup, an event held in October, hosted by Lacrosse Victoria in association with Proud2Play, an organisation that seeks to reduce social isolation, stigma and discrimination of LGBTQIA+ folks through the power of sport and recreation to create safe and affirming spaces for participation.
