Senior Program Overview
There are lots of opportunities to continue playing lacrosse beyond our Junior Program for all skill levels and ages.
Senior Men’s teams
We have three teams that cater for a range of abilities. Our premier State League team is for our elite players who want to play at a highly competitive level, while our State League Reserves is for our up-and-coming players heading for the State League. Finally, we have our Community Cup team, which is made up of beginners or seasoned players who still love the thrill of the game but no longer want to play at an elite level!
Our Senior Men’s teams train twice a week, on Tuesdays at The Albert Cricket Ground on St Kilda Road and on Thursdays at Beaumaris Secondary College. Senior Men’s games are on a Saturday.
If you are interested in joining our Senior Men’s teams, please contact us here.
Senior Women’s teams
We currently have one women’s team who play in the Women’s Championship League.
Our women train on Tuesday nights at The Albert Cricket Ground and play on Saturday afternoons. Our women love to hang out after games and always looking for new players – even beginners - so if you’re interested in joining this dynamic bunch, please contact us here.
National and International Opportunities
There are also many opportunities at the National and International levels for our Senior players. In recent years, MCC Lacrosse players have been selected to represent Victoria in the Lacrosse Australia Senior Men’s National Championships, as well as in the Lacrosse Australia Men’s Box Lacrosse Championships. MCC Lacrosse players have also had the opportunity to represent Australia in the Men’s World Championships in the past. With the recent announcement of lacrosse as an Olympic sport, there will be even more opportunities to represent the State and Country in the coming years.

The love of our game and our club is evident on the playing fields and in our clubhouse on a Saturday night, as well as in the number of senior players giving back to our club through coaching and training our junior players. If you want to be a part of this great club, please contact us!
