Where we play

MCC Lacrosse trains and plays at two locations in Melbourne. Our Senior home is The Albert Cricket Ground, a site that has hosted lacrosse games for over 125 years and is considered the birthplace of lacrosse in Australia. The Albert Cricket Ground hosts Senior Men's and Women's games on Staurdays and Junior Girl's games on Sundays, in addition to weekly training on Tuesday nights. The Clive Fairbairn Pavilion hosts dinners, fundraisers and other events over the season.

Our Junior home is at the newly built MCC Beaumaris facility, on the campus of Beaumaris Secondary College. Training is held on Mondays and Thursdays, while Junior Boy's games are held on Saturdays. The facilities at MCC Beaumaris are outstanding, with a state-of-the-art synthetic Multi-Purpose Pitch (MPP), brand new change rooms, and a beautiful function room with full professional kitchen in the MCC Beaumaris Pavilion.

MCC Lacrosse acknowledges the Bunurong and Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners on whose Country our games are played. We recognise and respect the cultural heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We extend that respect to the Traditional Owners throughout Victoria where we play.
